Explanation
- The POPF (Flat Composite) rupture disc consists of the three confi gurations
of the pressure disc, the sealing sheet, and the vacuum disc.
- It is the type broken by the internal pressure of fl uid with the burst part
intentionally processed by the burst design value.
- It can be used widely in all areas such as gas, liquid, and steam.
- The holder is not needed. It is installed between the standard or nonstandard
companion fl anges. The compression non-asbestos or Tefl on
gaskets are attached to both sides of the rupture disc.
Properties
- It is the type suitable to the application of low and fi ne pressure.
- The holder is not needed so that the price is the cheapest.
- The burst area and rated capacity are more excellent than any other model.
- The precision processing is possible to apply setting and bursting pressure.
The tolerance range is possible up to ±3%.
- Tefl on (PFA) is mainly used for the sealing sheet preventing liquid leakage.
- The material quality of the sealing sheet can be applied variously according
to the temperature and corrosiveness of fl uid.(PFA, PTFE, FEP, SUS316L, Nickel,
Monel, Inconel, etc.)
- Manufacturing is possible with the R.F or F.F type according to the fl ange
specifi cation.
- It is the type resisting the full vacuum by applying the vacuum support if
needed.(Optional)
- It is the multi-layered structure type with the burst part processed by the
burst design.
- The disc rupture can be monitored in the control room by applying the
alarm sensor system. (Optional)
