Explanation

  • The PVCDC (Composite Dome Circular) explosion vent panel consists of the three components such as the top panel, the sealing sheet, and the support panel.

  • The top panel adjusts the burst pressure of the panel. The sealing sheet in the middle prevents the leakage from the fluid in the process. The support panel supports the whole panel.

  • It is the type broken by the internal pressure of fl uid with the burst part intentionally processed by the burst design value.

  • It is installed with the gasket between the standard or non-standard companion fl anges or frames.

Properties

  • It is the type suitable to the application of low pressure.

  • ‌‌Tefl on (PFA) is mainly used for the sealing sheet. However, various material qualities can be applied depending on the process conditions.
    (PFA, PTFE, FEP, SUS316L, Monel400, Inconel600, etc.)

  • The various material qualities such as non-asbestos, Tefl on, silicon, rubber, etc. are used for the gasket.

  • It can endure vacuum by applying the vacuum support if needed.

  • The panel rupture can be monitored in the control room by applying the alarm sensor system. (Optional)

  • The fatigue degree of the metal or the circular durable period is improved more in comparison with the fl at type.
